Spell FUN...P-A-L-A-W-A-N with superfriends!;)

My year would not be complete without a "getaway" with my superfriends!;) May it be summer or rainy season we always make it a point to pack our beach outfits and accessories and fly/sail to the beach! This year we had it in Puerto Prinsesa PALAWAN! Despite the stormy weather in Manila, fortunately our pre-planned getaway wasn't cancelled...Thank God!;)

Our trip was so hectic that we  proceed already with the scheduled itinerary as soon as we arrived in PP Palawan.

Day 1: CITY TOUR

our tour guide Janet

@ the Immaculate Conception church

@ the Pasalubong Center

@ the CROCS farm

Everybody’s "favorite" (right jovs?) part of the tour has got to be the photo ops with the baby crocodiles. With the crocodile’s mouth tied up, guests can hold the crocodile and have their pictures taken for souvenirs.
photo-op with baby CROCS

The tour is limited to the hatchery and the small dens to give visitors a glimpse of what goes on inside a crocodile farm. A larger number of crocodiles are to be found in the area, but due to the weather that time they limited the areas to be visited for safety purposes, I guess? Crocodile Farm also has a zoo featuring other animals living in Palawan.

After we left the Crocodile farm we headed right going northward to Mitra's ranch. The ranch is crowned by a solitary mansion. It looks like a mansion in Robin Padilla's movies
@ Mitra's Ranch
Surrounding this mansion is a ranch that spreads neatly into rolling greens atop a highland! Hmmmm...Fresh air and a spectacular view of western seas!

Baker’s Hill is a mixed commercial-residential compound located in Barangay Santa Monica, on the same street where Mitra Ranch is. It was primarily known as a place where tourists buy their kakanin and pasalubong .they are known for their Hopia, ensymada and PIZZA! unfortunately we were'nt able to grab a bite of their pizza due to limited time.
Baker's Hill
The compound has been developed into a park filled with mini-gardens of eclectic themes. There are dinosaur statues, colorful birds and animal statues, Pirates of the Caribbean-inspired captain, quirky and comic statues of Marilyn Monroe and her rather more voluptuous alter-ego, cartoon characters like Bugs Bunny and Donald Duck and the most famous wooden "KALESA".

we ended the day with a dinner at KA LUI the most famous restaurant in Puerto Princesa. It is a must visit place among tourists. Your tour in Palawan wouldn't be complete if you haven't visited this place. Ka Lui provides the best customer service. Once you enter the restaurant, you will be greeted by their friendly staff. Ka Lui Restaurant is made of native wooden house. Its floor is clean and well-polished, you wouldn't mind to walk barefoot because every footwear should be left before entering the restaurant. Your footwear will be placed in small basket. They offer a wide variety of menu which depends on the fresh catch of the day. Everything on the menu are sea foods and vegetables which includes prawn, tuna steak, shellfish soup and many more.
